Renewals Sales Consultant

VIP Gateway | Salford Quays (Office Based)

£26,500 Basic + Uncapped OTE (£70,000+)

We have a lot of customers that are approaching the end of their current finance or leasing agreements, creating an exciting opportunity to help them choose their next vehicle and continue their journey with us.

That's why we're investing in a dedicated Renewals team focused on delivering an exceptional experience, strengthening customer loyalty and making VIP Gateway the first place our customers think of when it's time to change their vehicle.

About the Role

We're looking for a Renewals Sales Consultant to build relationships with our existing customer base and help customers transition into their next vehicle.

Unlike a traditional sales role, you'll be speaking to customers who already know VIP Gateway. Your focus is on understanding how their circumstances may have changed, discussing what they need from their next vehicle, and providing expert guidance to find the right solution.

Whether a customer needs more space for a growing family, is moving to an electric vehicle for the first time, or simply wants to upgrade into something new, you'll deliver a consultative experience that makes renewing with VIP Gateway an easy decision.

This is a relationship-led sales role where trust, customer experience and long-term value are just as important as commercial performance.

What You'll Be Doing

Contact customers approaching the end of their current vehicle agreement
Build lasting relationships through proactive, meaningful conversations
Understand each customer's changing lifestyle, budget and vehicle requirements
Recommend tailored vehicle and leasing solutions based on individual needs
Manage your own portfolio of renewal opportunities from initial contact through to delivery
Use our CRM to manage customer activity, follow-ups and pipeline performance
Work closely with New Business, Sales Support and Aftersales teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
Identify opportunities to introduce customers to new brands, technologies and vehicle options
Encourage repeat business and customer referrals through outstanding service
Achieve renewal, revenue and customer satisfaction targets

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships and creating positive customer experiences.

You'll ideally have:

Experience in sales, account management, customer retention or renewals
Previous experience within automotive, leasing or financial services would be advantageous
A consultative sales approach with excellent listening skills
Confidence building rapport with customers over the telephone
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy pipeline
Experience using CRM systems to manage customer relationships
A proactive mindset and genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service
A desire to build long-term relationships rather than simply complete transactions
