Full job description

Mile End Dental Clinic is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Part-Time /Full time Dental Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team.

We are a busy mixed NHS and private dental practice providing general dentistry alongside treatments including Invisalign, implants, endodontics and cosmetic dentistry.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials before appointments
Provide excellent patient care, including explaining procedures and addressing concerns in clear English
Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems and ensure confidentiality at all times
Support infection control protocols and sterilization processes to uphold hygiene standards
Manage appointment schedules efficiently, demonstrating strong organizational skills
Communicate effectively with patients, team members, and external providers to ensure smooth clinic operations

Qualifications

Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting is preferred
Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to explain procedures clearly and empathetically
Knowledge of nursing practices and infection control procedures
Familiarity with IT systems used for record keeping and appointment management
Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
A genuine passion for delivering outstanding patient care and support
