Warehouse Operative - Holiday Relief - Nights

Location: Scorrier, Redruth

Salary: £32,676 per year

Permanent Role:

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 19:00-07:00

Rodda’s is known across the world for crafting the best Cornish clotted cream – this is down to our care and attention to detail. We also produce double cream, bottled milk and butter. Our products are in high demand and the business is growing. Every single member of our team has an impact on the service and the product we provide.

We now have an opportunity for a Warehouse Nights Team Leader to join our friendly team. Applicants must be reliable, hard-working and be a good team player, willing to support and help colleagues.

Responsibilities:

Receive, unload, and accurately store incoming deliveries
Pick, pack and prepare customer orders to company quality standards
Load outbound vehicles safely and efficiently
Carry out stock replenishment and inventory checks as required
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and warehouse organisation
Operate warehouse equipment in accordance with training and company procedures
Follow health and safety policies, report any hazards or incidents promptly
Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure operational targets are achieve

Flexibility Requirements:

Although the core contracted hours are Monday-Friday, 19:00-07:00, this is a holiday relief role. The successful candidate must be flexible and willing to:

Work additional hours when required
Adjust start and finish times to provide operational cover
Work alternative days or shifts where reasonable to support holiday and absence cover
Reasonable notice will be provided wherever possible, although occasional short-notice changes may be necessary to maintain operational requirements

Skills and Experience:

Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Physically capable of manual handling duties
Strong commitment to health and safety
