Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chartered Legal Executive specialising in Conveyancing to join our reputable legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of property transactions, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and providing exceptional service to clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to further their career within a dynamic and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, organisational ability, and proficiency in IT systems relevant to legal practice.

Responsibilities

Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion.
Drafting and reviewing legal documentation such as contracts, transfer deeds, and leases.
Conducting property searches, liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other relevant parties.
Ensuring all transactions comply with current legislation and regulatory requirements.
Providing clear advice to clients on legal processes and progress updates throughout the transaction.
Organising and prioritising workload effectively to meet deadlines.
Maintaining accurate case files and updating case management systems efficiently.
Assisting junior team members where required and contributing to the overall success of the department.

Requirements

Qualified Chartered Legal Executive with specialisation in Conveyancing.
Proven experience managing residential property transactions from inception to completion.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly.
Strong IT skills, including familiarity with case management software and Microsoft Office suite.
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Good time management skills ensuring efficient workflow and client satisfaction.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive approach with high attention to detail and accuracy in all work undertaken.
