Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team at Trashman Treasures! In this role, you will be the frontline ambassador, delivering exceptional customer service while actively engaging with clients to meet their needs. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will drive sales, foster strong relationships, and contribute to a lively shopping environment. Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience
Engage in active listening to understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or services
Negotiate sales terms confidently, ensuring mutual satisfaction for both the customer and the company
Manage product displays, stock levels, and organize merchandise to create an inviting shopping atmosphere
Maintain accurate records of transactions, customer interactions, and follow-up actions
Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and improve store performance
Utilize IT tools effectively for inventory management, sales processing, and communication

Experience

Proven experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and a proactive attitude are key!
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence purchasing decisions positively
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to connect with diverse customers
Ability to drive confidently when required for store visits or promotional activities outside the premises
Familiarity with B2B (business-to-business) sales processes is a plus but not mandatory
Demonstrated organizational skills with effective time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Basic IT literacy for using point-of-sale systems, inventory software, and communication tools
