Join our dynamic team as a Groundwork Labourer and be a vital part of construction and site development projects. In this an energetic and physical role, you will assist with preparing sites, moving materials, and supporting skilled tradespeople to ensure smooth project progress. Your proactive attitude and willingness to learn will help create safe, efficient, and high-quality work environments. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while contributing to impactful projects.

Responsibilities

Assist with site preparation activities such as clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground surfaces
Load, unload, and transport materials and tools around the construction site safely and efficiently
Support skilled workers by handing tools, setting up equipment, and following safety protocols
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity
Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks accurately and on time
Help with the installation of basic groundwork elements under supervision
Conduct routine safety checks to identify hazards and report issues immediately

Qualifications

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Basic understanding of construction site safety procedures
Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Prior experience in construction or groundwork is a plus but not required
Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation is advantageous
