Pembrey and Burry Port Town Council

Vacancy: Bookings and Events Assistant

Pembrey and Burry Port Town Council is looking for an organised and customer-focused Bookings and Events Assistant. This role is responsible for coordinating bookings and supporting the planning and delivery of events.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage bookings from initial enquiries through to confirmation.
Respond promptly to telephone, email and online enquiries.
Prepare quotations, booking confirmations and invoices.
Maintain accurate booking records and update internal systems.
Support the CEEO with administrative tasks and reporting.

Essential Requirements:

Previous administrative experience.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Good IT skills.
A high level of attention to detail.
Strong customer service and communication skills.

Working Hours:
Wednesday to Friday, 22 hours per week, with occasional evening and weekend work to support events.

Salary:
Grade D, Spinal Column Point 5 – £25,583 pro rata
