Full job description

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Qualified Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our friendly dental practice. This role combines clinical support with reception responsibilities, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for our patients. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care, assist with dental procedures, and manage administrative tasks efficiently. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create a positive environment where patients feel valued and cared for every step of the way.

Duties

Assist dentists during various dental treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials, maintaining strict hygiene standards
Provide compassionate patient care, including explaining procedures and addressing concerns with clear communication
Manage reception duties such as scheduling appointments, confirming patient details, and handling patient inquiries
Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and data security
Process payments, update patient information, and manage correspondence efficiently
Support infection control protocols and sterilization processes to uphold health and safety regulations

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a warm, empathetic approach to all patients
Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with patients and team members
Proven experience in nursing or dental assistance, with knowledge of dental procedures preferred
Proficiency in IT systems for record-keeping, appointment scheduling, and administrative tasks
Outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities seamlessly
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
