Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Part-Time Weekend Bar Staff to join our vibrant team! This energetic role is perfect for individuals who thrive in lively environments and enjoy providing exceptional service. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will create memorable experiences for our guests by delivering friendly, efficient service at the bar during weekends. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help foster a welcoming atmosphere and ensure smooth operations throughout your shifts.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly as they arrive and take their orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
Serve a variety of beverages accurately, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring proper presentation and quality
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
Check IDs to verify legal drinking age in accordance with food safety regulations
Handle cash and card transactions efficiently using POS systems, providing correct change and receipts
Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible serving and prevent overconsumption
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods and assist with setting up or closing down the bar as needed

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key!
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving practices
Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy weekend shifts
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or cleaning
A friendly, energetic personality with a passion for creating enjoyable guest experiences
