Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a organised and flexible Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with office experience and strong computer skills to support daily operations within a professional environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of clerical and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth workflow and effective communication across departments. Previous experience with Microsoft Office and data entry is desirable, along with excellent phone etiquette and organisational skills.

Duties

Managing incoming calls and correspondence with professionalism and courtesy
Organising schedules, appointments, and meetings efficiently
Performing data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office
Maintaining and updating files, records, and databases in an organised manner
Assisting with invoicing, billing, and other financial documentation
Supporting team members with administrative tasks as needed
Ensuring the office environment remains tidy.
Handling mail distribution
Provide holiday cover for colleagues when required

Qualifications

Proven office experience or administrative background
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Strong typing skills for efficient data entry and document preparation
Good phone etiquette with clear communication abilities
Good written and spoken English
Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Clerical experience that demonstrates reliability and professionalism
