Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling materials, managing stock, and supporting various logistical functions. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable with heavy lifting and has experience with warehouse management systems.

Duties

Handle materials efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse.
Perform picking and packing tasks to fulfil customer orders accurately and promptly.
Maintain stock levels by monitoring inventory and reporting discrepancies as needed.
Utilise the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory movements and manage stock effectively.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while working in the warehouse environment.
Participate in regular stock takes and assist with maintaining an organised workspace.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, with a strong understanding of materials handling.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems,
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 18 kg) consistently throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail when picking, packing, and managing stock.
Excellent organisational skills to maintain an orderly warehouse environment.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Forklift preferred but no essential
