Job Summary

As Assistant Manager - you lead by example, supporting the General Manager in the management of the accommodation, heading up ‘Team true’ to instil a market leading true life living experience for our guests as we endeavour to become the most loved student accommodation brand. You have a hands-on approach. Day to day you are amongst the action, leading our team to operational excellence. Duties

Support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
Supervise and motivate team members, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional development.
Ensuring team members training is up to date.
Assist in managing sales targets, analysing performance metrics, and implementing strategies to maximise revenue.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing queries professionally and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with team members and management through various channels including phone etiquette and written correspondence.
Provide reception desk support, including front desk and telephone support, assisting with parcel deliveries and day to day queries.
You will be a key point of contact for our guests - answering questions, dealing with issues or concerns, and responding to complaints. Accommodation show arounds and supporting the sales team.
Supporting the General Manager to ensure a range of opportunities and events for our guests. Supporting and ensuring delivery of our market leading true-life events program.
Coordinating guest check in and check out, ensuring processes are in place and working and overseeing termly room inspections.
Managing contractors and visitors and ensuring procedures are followed.
Assisting in the day-to-day operations including responding to maintenance requests and the general upkeep of the accommodation.

Skills

You will have a minimum of 2 years management experience at management/supervisory level.

This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking to advance their management career within a vibrant luxury student accommodation while delivering outstanding service to customers.

Pay: £29,000.00 per year
