Location: Cedars Upper School & Linslade School, Linslade

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours of work: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Salary: NJC M1 pts 28 - 31 (£39152 - £41771 per annum))

Training: Training & Support will be provided

Overview of the job

We have an exciting opportunity within Chiltern Learning Trust as a Facilities Manager working across Cedars Upper School and Linslade School in Linslade, Leighton Buzzard. The successful applicant will be responsible for the short term planning, implementation and high quality delivery in relation to facilities, health and safety and premises related aspects of the work within the schools working closer with the Cluster Facilities Manager.

The role will include reviewing, developing, implementing and monitoring the appropriate facilities/premises support systems and structures to ensure the provision of ongoing effective management support for the smooth running of the schools in the cluster whilst ensuring compliance with financial regulations, school policies, personnel procedures, service level agreements and the regulations and directives as appropriate.

You will oversee the effective and efficient deployment of all premises staff within the school to meet business needs, supporting their professional development and ensuring that appropriate training is provided within the constraints of staff development budgets.

You will ensure that the school site is maintained to a high standard at all times. The work will ensure compliance with best practice and statutory requirements in Health and Safety which includes completing all necessary records and report writing for the Trust.

If you feel you have the right mix of good communicational skills, an understanding of Health & Safety practices, competent in basic DIY, and have previous supervisory experience, then we would welcome an application from you.
