Full job description

Sloane Square Hotel is a 4* Hotel in one of the chicest postcodes in London. Right in the heart of Chelsea with 100 elegant bedrooms, Lounge, and Nightclub, Sloane Square hotel is a vibrant and exciting place to work. We are continuing to grow our team and actively looking for people who want to be part of our exciting journey and make a difference to our business.

Position: Casual Kitchen Porter

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, pot wash and back-of-house areas.
Wash dishes, utensils, cookware and kitchen equipment to a high standard.
Ensure all kitchen areas are kept clean, tidy and compliant with food hygiene and health & safety standards.
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
Remove waste and recycling in line with company procedures.
Support the kitchen team with general duties as required.
Carry out any other reasonable tasks requested by the Head Chef or kitchen management.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, catering or other hospitality environment is preferred.
Comfortable working on your feet for long shifts in a busy kitchen.
A strong commitment to cleanliness, organisation and attention to detail.
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
A team player who works well with others.
Flexible and reliable, with availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
Good communication skills.
Willingness to undertake a variety of tasks to support the smooth operation of the kitchen.
