Role Title: Engineering Manager

We are anticipating paying a salary of between £68,000 - £90,000 DOE

Location: Derby, Manchester, Warrington

We are now recruiting for the exciting role of Engineering Manager, to be involved in industry leading, cutting-edge design project for a new type of power station.

Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, an Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the development of multi-disciplinary development of an area on the site-specific RR SMR power station design.

This role will integrate and co-ordinate the site-specific design activities on a RRSMR development project as one of the engineering leaders within the project team. The role will require extensive interfacing and team working around the entire programme, internally and externally, developing aspects of the site-specific design with a key focus on ensuring integration with the generic development of the RRSMR.

The role is responsible for the planning and delivery of engineering deliverables, in their area, to meet the needs of the clients site development programme. The engineering manager will work with the senior engineering manager and project management team to identify the resources necessary to deliver and then lead and manage their team in the project matrix organisation.

The candidate will be an engineering leader with a record of planning and delivery of complex programmes with a range of client and regulatory engagement. The candidate will demonstrate power station (or equivalent large scale infrastructure) knowledge and have experience of leading multi-disciplinary engineering design teams, with experience of one or more of the following areas:

Cooling Water Island
Civil engineering and site preparation
Construction readiness and planning
Nuclear Island

Salary and Package

We anticipate paying a salary between £68,000 - £90,000 DOE
Bonus - Short Term Incentive - Performance Based- target opportunity 17%
Benefits Allowance - £5,000, enabling you to create a bespoke package
Pension - 12% employer and 6% employee contributions.
Holidays - 28 days holiday (+ public holidays) and the ability to buy or sell up to 4 days
Private Medical Insurance - BUPA single cover health care
Life Assurance - 6x pensionable pay
£250 - One-off payment for new starters for home office purchases
