An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Wood Machinist to join our team. This role is an active physical role and the successful applicant will be driven, eager to learn all aspects of the role and the company, to deliver the highest standards of service to our customers and internal departments consistently. Salary is dependent on experience.

Key Tasks

Operating Woodworking Machinery and various processes
Timber identification
Working to the highest standards of Health & Safety
Accurate preparation and calculation of orders
Housekeeping and maintenance of Mill and Workshops
Liaise with other departments to ensure job lists are completed on time and to the highest standard

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Applicants must be 18+ years old for this role due to insurance restrictions
Experience with Woodworking Machinery
Ability to demonstrate good level of Mathematics.
Confident and excellent communication skills.
A high degree of self-motivation and drive.
Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team.
Ability to work under pressure.
Own transport would be ideal due to limited public transport service.
