Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Production Technician to join our team in the manufacturing of high-quality power solutions. Producing and maintaining battery systems across a range of exciting markets including EV, Marine & Submarine, Robotics and Defence.

Responsibilities

Assemble components and sub-assemblies to a final configured product, utilising SPOPs, drawings/ build instructions and specialised tooling and fixtures.
Stage inspection of product at required intervals to verify work conforms with defined tolerances and specification criteria.
Evaluate customer returns to determine actions required to restore build standard.
Collaborate with Engineers and other team members to address production challenges and implement process improvements.
Adhere to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Potentially soldering components and wiring.
Complete production-related documentation accurately.
Support inventory management and stock control for components.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the warehouse.

Core Skills & Experience

Experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
Strong attention to detail and quality, with a commitment to producing high-quality electro-mechanical products.
Ability to follow SPOPs and build instructions and test documentation.
Flexible approach with the ability to support other activities within a manufacturing environment.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
A working knowledge of MRP systems, Production Control systems and Electro-mechanical Manufacturing Techniques.
A working knowledge of batteries is a plus.
