Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise within a professional kitchen environment, contributing to a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with restaurant standards and recipes
Assist in the organisation and management of specific sections within the kitchen
Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality, presentation, and safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work stations, adhering to food safety regulations
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service periods
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control and ordering when necessary
Support junior kitchen staff by providing guidance and training as required
Follow all health and safety procedures diligently, including proper handling of food and equipment

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a busy restaurant or hotel environment
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety standards
Previous experience working in a professional kitchen setting is essential.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
A recognised culinary qualification or relevant training is preferred but not essential
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
