Job Title: Structural Steel Fabricator Welder

Location: Midlands

Salary: £30,000 - £45,000

About the Role

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established structural steelwork company in the Midlands looking to add an experienced Structural Steel Fabricator Welder to their growing team. This is a permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary, stable work, and the chance to work on a variety of structural steel projects.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate and weld structural steel components from engineering drawings.
Work with beams, columns, plate work, staircases, balustrades, and other structural steelwork.
Carry out MIG welding to a high standard.
Read and interpret fabrication drawings accurately.
Operate workshop machinery and fabrication equipment safely.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
Work effectively as part of a busy fabrication team while maintaining health and safety standards.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Structural Steel Fabricator Welder.
Experience working on a wide range of structural steelwork projects.
Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
Strong MIG welding and fabrication skills.
Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant welding qualifications are desirable but not essential.
