Job Role: CRM Manager

Based: Winsford, Cheshire

Reports to: CEO

Salary: £40,000-60,000 depending on experience

We’re a fast-growing home fragrance e-commerce brand seeking an experienced CRM Manager to shape our CRM strategy from the ground up and elevate our customer experience. If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact in a scaling, ambitious business, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role

We’re looking for a data-driven, growth-focused CRM Manager to own and scale our customer lifecycle strategy at Valentte. This is a hands-on role combining execution with ownership, where you’ll be responsible for day-to-day CRM performance while shaping how we use CRM to drive long-term growth.

You’ll manage and optimise our email programme, build and evolve automated lifecycle journeys, and lead our expansion into SMS and WhatsApp using the Bloomreach platform. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you’ll play a key role in improving customer engagement, retention, and lifetime value as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities

Own and optimise daily CRM activity across email, balancing campaign sends with automated lifecycle journeys to maximise relevance, performance, and deliverability across our 1m+ customer base
Develop and optimise multi-channel customer journeys that increase conversion, retention, and customer lifetime value (LTV)
Build, test, and refine campaigns, automations, and scenarios within Bloomreach
Lead the expansion of CRM beyond email into SMS and WhatsApp, from strategy and planning through to execution and optimisation
Manage segmentation, personalisation, and customer insights to ensure communications are timely, relevant, and effective
Analyse campaign and journey performance, turning data into clear, actionable insights for the wider business
Act as the internal owner and champion of Bloomreach, ensuring best-practice usage as the platform matures
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Creative, E-commerce, and Product teams to align CRM activity with launches, promotions, and brand priorities
Work with external agency partners to translate business requirements into effective CRM execution
Maintain strong deliverability, list health, consent management, and GDPR-compliant communication standards

Measures of Success

Success in this role will be measured across the following areas:

Growth in CRM-driven revenue across email, SMS, and WhatsApp
Improved repeat purchase rate and customer lifetime value

Customer Engagement

Improved open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates across campaigns and automated journeys
Increased proportion of revenue driven by automated journeys (e.g. welcome, post-purchase, replenishment, winback)
Faster time-to-launch and ongoing optimisation of lifecycle programmes
Successful launch and scaling of SMS and WhatsApp within Bloomreach, delivering strong engagement and ROI within the first 6–12 months
Strong sender reputation, inbox placement, and list health
Consistent campaign delivery, organised workflows, and brand-aligned execution

What You’ll Bring

3+ years’ experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, or email marketing
Hands-on experience with Bloomreach or a similar enterprise-level CRM or marketing automation platform. Training on Bloomreach will be provided.
A proven track record of driving revenue and retention through email and lifecycle marketing
Strong experience building automated journeys, segmentation, and A/B testing programmes
A data-led, performance-driven mindset with confidence interpreting and acting on insights
Experience with SMS and/or WhatsApp marketing, or a strong understanding of how these channels fit into a broader lifecycle strategy
Excellent communication, organisational, and project-management skills
Confidence working in a scaling business with evolving processes and partners
A passion for consumer brands – bonus points if you love home fragrance
