Summary

We are seeking a Painter & Decorator and general maintenance member to join our dedicated team at Farthings Country House Hotel & Restaurant. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the property and ensuring that all facilities are in excellent working order, contributing to the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

Painting & Decorating, both internally & Externally
Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests.
Ensure that all tools and equipment are maintained in good condition.
Assist with the setup and breakdown of events as needed.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries regarding maintenance issues.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in decorating, maintenance or maintenance person roles, preferably in a hospitality setting.
Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Basic English communication skills are essential.
