Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Head Chef/Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of kitchen operations. This energetic role requires a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, ensuring exceptional food quality, safety standards, and team performance. As the driving force behind our kitchen, you will inspire creativity, maintain high standards of food production, and deliver memorable dining experiences for our guests. Your leadership will foster a positive work atmosphere where teamwork and culinary excellence flourish.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to safety protocols
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high-quality standards and consistency
Manage and motivate kitchen staff through effective team management and leadership practices
Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting guest expectations
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across all kitchen areas
Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless serving and guest satisfaction
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to optimize operational efficiency

Requirements

Proven supervising experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant setting
Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team management and staff development
Solid understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and regulatory compliance
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is highly preferred
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills to lead a diverse team and coordinate with other departments
