Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality cleaning services to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our clients. The ideal candidate will be organised, reliable, and have a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a professional setting.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, corridors, and communal spaces, using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with company policies and health regulations
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other consumables as needed
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
Assist with specialised cleaning tasks when required, including carpet cleaning or window washing

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Attention to detail to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards
Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills and a positive approach to customer service
