Full job description

Job Overview

We are a small family-based engineering company in Thirsk and currently have a vacancy for a new team member. The role would be for an experienced Office Administrator to support our small team, dealing predominantly with compliance, ordering, booking jobs in and preparing Job Packs for our workshop.

This is a part-time role of 24 hrs per week. Flexability to work 3 full days or split over 4 days.

Responsibilities

Manage Compliance Packages for each job.
Organise and maintain physical and digital files, ensuring easy retrieval of information.
Create Delivery Notes and data entry into accounting software.
Prepare and update documents, reports, and correspondence accurately and efficiently.
Handle customer inquiries via email or phone, providing excellent service and support.
Assist with the Quality Management System.

Qualifications

Proficiency in relevant software tools such as Excel, compliance management systems, and accounting platforms.
Good understanding of internal audit procedures and regulatory reporting requirements.
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Effective communication skills for liaising across teams, clients and stakeholders.

Pay: £15.00 per hour
