Job Summary:

Al Matajir International Trading Ltd is seeking a Director of International Trade to lead global trade operations, expand international business opportunities, and strengthen strategic partnerships across global markets. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced commercial leader who enjoys driving international growth, developing market strategies, and overseeing cross-border trade activities. What you'll do:

Lead the company's international trade strategy and global business development initiatives.
Identify new international market opportunities and build long-term commercial partnerships.
Oversee import, export, sourcing, and international trading operations.
Develop strategies to improve global supply chain efficiency and commercial performance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, distributors, and suppliers.
Monitor market trends, trade regulations, and emerging business opportunities.
Collaborate with finance, operations, procurement, and sales teams to support international growth.
Manage commercial negotiations, contracts, and strategic agreements.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Lead and develop high-performing international trade teams.

Requirements:

Experience in international trade, import and export, business development, commercial management, logistics, or a related field is beneficial.
Previous leadership or senior management experience is an advantage.
Strong commercial awareness, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical abilities.
Ability to manage multiple international projects and priorities.
A strategic mindset with a focus on business growth and operational excellence.
Relevant qualifications or equivalent professional experience are welcomed.
