Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Furniture Fitter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise assembly, installation, and fitting of a wide range of furniture pieces, ensuring they meet quality standards and client specifications. Your expertise will help transform spaces by delivering expertly fitted furniture that enhances functionality and aesthetics. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilising your craftsmanship and attention to detail to create beautiful, functional environments.

Duties

Assemble furniture using hand tools, power tools, and joinery techniques to ensure sturdy and accurate construction - own tools preferred
Fit furniture components into designated spaces, ensuring proper alignment and secure installation
Conduct heavy lifting safely to move large or bulky furniture pieces during assembly and installation
Must be able to scribe well
Reading and interpreting of plans is essential
Driving to and from the job to install the furniture - full driving licence required

Skills

Proficiency in fabrication, assembly, and joinery techniques with excellent attention to detail
Experience with hand tools, power tools, and other equipment used in furniture fitting and carpentry
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to different project requirements
