Full job description

Role: Production Operative

Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (October to December)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday: 8:00am to 5:00pm with a 15-minute paid tea break and 30-minute unpaid lunch break, and Fridays, 8:00am to 2:00pm with a15-minute paid tea break

Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour

We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable Production Operatives to join our team during our busiest and most exciting time of year! As a Production Operative, you'll play a vital role in bringing our festive collections to life. From manufacturing beautiful fragranced products to assembling beautiful gift sets for our customers.

Responsibilities:

Work in line with Production Orders
Accurately load and feed raw materials into production machinery
Assemble products efficiently on production lines
Monitor production processes to ensure quality and accuracy standards are consistently met
Carry out basic quality checks and testing in line with procedures
Wrap, label, and pack finished goods to a high standard
Store raw materials and finished goods correctly within the warehouse
Use lifting and transportation equipment safely and as instructed to fulfil orders
Accurately pick and pack goods for dispatch
Maintain work areas, equipment, and production lines to a high standard
Ensure production areas are kept clean, tidy, and compliant with hygiene standards
Identify and report quality issues promptly to the appropriate team member or line manager
Support other production and operational activities as required by the line manager
