Full job description

Role Overview

We are seeking a permanent Finance and Executive Admin Assistant, based in the Dorchester area, as part of the Executive team.

This role is primarily office based but, depending on the applicant, working from home may be an option.

This role offers a unique opportunity for career growth, managing a diverse mix of business operations. The position will naturally develop over time as you take on more operational ownership.

This role works closely with the Senior Executive Assistant, who directly supports the Company Chairman CEO. As you grow into the position, you will learn these executive duties to provide seamless cover for both roles during period of absence.

Key Responsibilities

· Sage 50 Accounts:

Sales ledger, purchase ledger, bank reconciliation

General assistance with management accounts

· The Watercress Company:

Assisting with the Sage 50 Accounts during periods of absence

Reconciling weekly and monthly sales data

Assisting with Sage Payroll during period of absence

Responsible for Sage HR

· Property Maintenance Coordination :

Job allocation, timesheet and Sage accounts

· Cover:

Acting as the primary point of contact and covering key financial duties for the Senior Executive Assistant, during period of annual leave or absence, including work for the Company Chairman CEO.

· Administration Duties to include:

Cashflow;

Insurance;

Stock trends;

Mobile phones;

Utilities;

Any other duties as requested by the Senior Executive Assistant and/or Chairman CEO

Experience & Skills Required

Sage 50 Accounts is strictly essential.
Excel: Strong spreadsheet skills (pivot tables, data formatting).
Background: Direct prior experience in bookkeeping, financial tracking, or accounts coordination.
Discretion: Absolute confidentiality when handling highly sensitive corporate and personal financial data.
Communication: A professional, clear, and confident communication style.

· Organisational skills: Proven ability to multitask and manage daily priorities, strong attention to detail and to work both independently and as part of an Executive team.

Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
