Job Overview

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Front of House Cleaner, where your energetic approach and attention to detail will create a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of all public areas, ensuring that every space reflects our commitment to excellence. Your proactive attitude will help foster a positive atmosphere, making every visitor feel comfortable and valued from the moment they step through the door. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant hospitality setting while honing your cleaning and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of all front-of-house areas, including lobbies, reception areas, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Ensure all surfaces are sanitized regularly, including floors, tables, chairs, windows, and fixtures.
Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issues promptly.
Assist with setting up or clearing tables during busy periods to support overall guest experience.
Follow health and safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Respond swiftly to any cleaning requests or spillages to maintain a tidy and inviting space at all times.
Support team members with additional duties as needed to keep the front of house running smoothly.

Requirements

Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is highly desirable.
Proven janitorial experience demonstrating knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with colleagues and respond courteously to guest inquiries.
Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods throughout shifts.
A positive attitude with a commitment to providing excellent service in a welcoming atmosphere.
