Full job description

About the Role

We are seeking an organized and proactive Conveyancing Assistant to directly support a Partner in our Porthcawl office. This role offers hands-on experience across the entire residential conveyancing lifecycle, with full training provided for areas where you are looking to expand your skills.

Key Responsibilities

Obtaining Land Registry titles and drafting initial contract packs.
Reviewing and reporting on search results and mortgage offers.
Handling day-to-day communications with clients, estate agents, and opposing solicitors.
Managing exchange of contracts and key completion tasks.
Executing post-completion requirements, including LTT/SDLT returns and Land Registry applications.

Candidate Requirements

Prior experience in residential conveyancing (essential).
Open to qualified/qualifying Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers, Legal Executives (CILEX), or experienced non-qualified fee earners/assistants.
Strong organizational skills with a proven track record of meeting strict completion deadlines.
Excellent client-facing communication skills.
Desirable: Experience or interest in Private Client work (Wills, LPAs, and Probate).
