Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely service and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be the backbone of our logistics operations, providing essential transportation support while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. Duties

Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products and packages to designated destinations
Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
Load and unload items, often requiring heavy lifting and manual handling in warehouse settings
Communicate clearly with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly
Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues immediately
Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and documentation for all shipments
Uphold safety standards at all times, including proper securing of cargo and adherence to traffic regulations

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role with a strong track record of safe driving practices
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; <PERSON> driver certification preferred
Experience with commercial driving vehicles such as vans or trucks is highly desirable
Warehouse experience is a plus, especially involving heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
Ability to perform heavy lifting when loading or unloading goods safely
Knowledge of local traffic laws, route planning, and navigation tools
