Mid-Weight Creative

Location: Knowsley, Liverpool (On-site, not hybrid) Level: Mid-Weight Reports to: Head of Creative & Art Direction Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOE Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

Our agency partner is an award-winning independent creative agency with over 15 years of experience delivering standout work across sport, FMCG and fashion. They're passionate about creating bold, culturally relevant campaigns that make an impact and are looking for a talented Mid-Weight Creative to join their growing team.

This is a hands-on role for a creative who enjoys the full creative process, from developing concepts and presenting ideas through to crafting and delivering exceptional final work. You'll work across a diverse portfolio of brands, collaborating with the wider creative team to produce work that's visually compelling, strategically considered and executed to the highest standard.

Working closely with the Head of Creative & Art Direction, you'll bring fresh thinking, strong design instincts and a genuine passion for great ideas. Whether you're developing brand identities, campaign creative or content, you'll play a key role in shaping work that delivers real impact.

IMPORTANT: This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic agency environment. You'll be managing multiple projects, working to tight deadlines and collaborating across a busy creative team. If you like it calm and predictable, this probably isn't the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Development

✅ Develop creative concepts across branding, campaigns and multi-channel content.

✅ Take projects from initial idea through to polished execution.

✅ Present and confidently justify creative decisions internally and, when required, to clients.

✅ Ensure every piece of work is delivered to an exceptional creative standard.

Project Delivery

✅ Confidently manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.

✅ Understand commercial objectives and ensure creative decisions are delivered efficiently, on time and within budget.

✅ Adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining the quality of your work.

Collaboration

✅ Work closely with the Head of Creative & Art Direction and the wider creative team.

✅ Actively contribute to creative discussions, bringing fresh ideas and new perspectives.

✅ Collaborate across departments to deliver engaging, innovative creative work that pushes the agency forward.

What We're Looking For

✅ Significant experience within a creative, brand or marketing agency.

✅ A strong portfolio demonstrating branding, campaign and multi-channel creative work.

✅ Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

✅ Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, print production and art direction.

✅ Hands-on experience supporting or leading film and photography shoots.

✅ Strong communication skills with the confidence to present and explain creative ideas.

✅ Organised, proactive and motivated by producing outstanding creative work.

IMPORTANT: Experience working in fast-paced, quick-turnaround environments is essential. We're looking for someone who enjoys the pace of agency life, can confidently manage multiple priorities and consistently delivers high-quality creative work under pressure.
