Overview

Join our dental team as a Dental Nurse/Receptionist, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create a welcoming environment for patients and support the smooth operation of our practice. Working hours will be 8.15am-5pm Monday - Thursday. This role offers a unique blend of clinical assistance and front-desk responsibilities, allowing you to showcase your excellent communication skills, organizational talent, and dedication to patient care. You will be an integral part of delivering high-quality dental services while ensuring administrative tasks are handled efficiently. We are committed to fostering a positive workplace where your skills can flourish and make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives.

Duties

Provide compassionate patient care, assisting dentists during procedures and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit
Manage reception duties including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and handling patient inquiries with professionalism and warmth
Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection standards
Support infection control protocols by sterilizing instruments and maintaining a clean clinical environment
Coordinate with the dental team to ensure timely preparation of treatment rooms and materials for procedures
Handle administrative tasks such as processing payments, updating patient information, and managing correspondence
Communicate clearly with patients in English, explaining treatments, post-care instructions, and answering questions effectively

Requirements

Experience in patient care within a healthcare or dental setting is highly desirable
Strong communication skills to interact confidently with patients and team members
Knowledge of nursing practices or relevant healthcare qualifications preferred
Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping, appointment scheduling, and administrative documentation
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while demonstrating initiative and reliability
A positive attitude with a genuine desire to deliver outstanding patient service
