Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Company Secretary to join our professional team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth administration of company affairs, maintaining compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting executive management. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong administrative skills and office experience to develop their career within a dynamic organisation.

Duties

Organise and maintain accurate records of company meetings, including minutes and resolutions.
Ensure compliance with statutory filing deadlines and legal requirements.
Prepare and distribute agendas, reports, and correspondence related to board meetings and shareholder activities.
Manage company documentation, including statutory registers, contracts, and other official records.
Assist in the organisation of corporate governance activities and liaise with external regulators as required.
Support senior management with administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and scheduling.
Oversee the utilisation of office software to streamline administrative processes.
Handle correspondence via email, phone calls, and written communication with professionalism and courtesy.

Skills

Proven office experience with strong organisational skills.
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
Experience with data entry and clerical tasks ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous.
Excellent typing speed coupled with strong organisational abilities.
Good phone etiquette and professional communication skills.
Administrative experience within a corporate environment is preferred but not essential for highly motivated candidates.

Pay: £12.00-£20.00 per hour
