Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to a variety of vehicles, ensuring precision and attention to detail. This role requires a strong understanding of painting techniques, safety procedures, and the ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop environment. The ideal applicant will have relevant experience and possess the necessary skills to deliver excellent results consistently.

Responsibilities

Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
Mix paints and colour matching to achieve the desired finish.
Operate spray guns and other painting equipment with precision to apply even coats of paint.
Use hand tools and power tools for surface preparation and finishing tasks.
Perform quality checks on painted surfaces, ensuring adherence to company standards.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Assist with minor repairs or touch-ups as required.
Follow all safety protocols when handling paints, solvents, and equipment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer or in a similar role within an automotive body shop or workshop.
Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle assembly and repair processes.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools essential for surface preparation and finishing.
Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling vehicle parts or equipment safely.
Strong attention to detail with an eye for colour matching and finish quality.
Good organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to spray painting environments.
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
