Full job description

Join a fast-paced projects team supporting major infrastructure works across the UK

Lowton Infrastructure Group (LIG) is looking for an organised and proactive Project Administrator to join our Projects Team on a fixed-term basis for 6 months.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating multiple tasks, communicating with customers and operational teams, and helping ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.

You'll play a key role in supporting project delivery, managing administration processes, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

What you'll be doing

Supporting the Projects Team with the administration of live projects
Responding to client enquiries via telephone and email
Preparing and issuing quotations, confirmations and project documentation
Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate project records
Chasing outstanding purchase orders and required documentation
Coordinating project schedules and supporting resource planning
Producing reports and updating trackers
Liaising with operational teams, clients and suppliers to ensure projects remain on track
Supporting project meetings and taking actions where required
General administrative support to the Projects Team

What we're looking for

Previous experience in an administrative, coordination or support role
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
Ability to build positive relationships with both colleagues and customers
Proactive approach with a willingness to learn

Desirable

Experience working within projects, construction, utilities, infrastructure or engineering environments
Experience in strong customer service
