Full job description

Job Summary

Urban Cleaning is looking for an organised and friendly Contractor Onboarding Coordinator to help new cleaning contractors join our team and become ready for work.

You will guide applicants through every stage of onboarding, from the initial conversation and document collection to induction and first-job readiness. You will be the main point of contact for new contractors, ensuring they receive clear information and have a positive experience.

Duties

- Contact and screen potential new contractors.

- Explain our services, standards and onboarding process.

- Collect and check identification, right-to-work documents, insurance and other required information.

- Arrange interviews, inductions and training sessions.

- Help contractors complete forms and set up the systems they need.

- Keep onboarding records accurate and up to date.

- Follow up on missing documents and outstanding actions.

- Coordinate with the scheduling team so approved contractors can begin accepting work.

- Answer contractor questions professionally and promptly.

- Resolve issues that could delay a contractor’s start date.

Skills

- Strong communication and people skills.

- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.

- Confidence speaking with applicants by telephone, email and messaging apps.

- Ability to manage several applications at the same time.

- Comfortable using online forms, spreadsheets and business software.

- Reliable, professional and able to handle personal information confidentially.

- Previous experience in recruitment, onboarding, administration or customer service is preferred.

- Experience in cleaning, hospitality, property management or staffing would be helpful but is not essential

- A starting salary of £25,000 per year.

- Full-time, Monday-to-Friday working hours.

- A supportive office-based environment on Bakewell Road.

- Training and clear onboarding processes.

- Opportunities to progress into recruitment, operations or team management.

Pay: £24,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
