Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to market expansion. The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal part in shaping the future direction of our company by expanding our client base and enhancing our market presence.

Duties

Identify and secure new business opportunities across Scotland.
Grow sales within existing customer accounts.
Build long-term relationships with customers and become their trusted partner.
Present new products, seasonal ranges and promotional opportunities.
Negotiate commercial agreements while protecting margins.
Work closely with our production and customer service teams to ensure exceptional customer experience.
Represent Porrelli at trade shows, exhibitions and industry events.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.

Skills

Proven experience in field sales or business development.
Experience within FMCG, foodservice, hospitality or wholesale (preferred but not essential).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
A full UK driving licence.

Pay: From £38,000.00 per year
