Job Summary

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Housekeeper/Room Attendant, where your energy and attention to detail will create a welcoming and spotless environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. Your dedication ensures that every guest experiences a clean, safe, and inviting space during their stay. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry while contributing to memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize guest rooms thoroughly, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance
Restock amenities like towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guest needs are met promptly
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management for prompt resolution
Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Adhere to all health regulations and company policies related to sanitation and hygiene standards
Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or requested by management

Requirements

Previous hotel experience or janitorial experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and organization
Ability to stand, bend, lift, and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork and guest service
Knowledge of hospitality standards and basic cleaning techniques is a plus
Ability to follow safety guidelines diligently and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
