Foundever® is looking for an Assembly Operator to join our team in our Galashils fulfilment warehouse. Please note that we are unfortunately not able to offer sponsorship for this role.
What will I be doing?
As an Assembly Operator with Foundever®, you’ll deliver professional, timely, and accurate support for our client.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing Assembly tasks according to training provided across a varied client range
Performing quality checks as laid out in Assembly procedures
Ability to work to specific instruction samples/drawings
Picking and isolating stock for daily orders
Undertaking printing and assembly activity as detailed by client requirements – overprinting letterheads, printing labels
Ensuring the safe keeping of stock and consumables within the Dept
Helping to the Senior Operator to identify more efficient ways of working
Ensuring that products are processed in accordance to current quality processes/procedures primarily ISO 9001,14001, 13485 applicable Client SOP’s etc.
Accurate recording of activity times in conjunction with daily activity record
Where required Picking of goods from stock in accordance with Operating procedures
Where required Packing of Products in accordance with Operating Procedures and using the correct void fill products
Working in a safe and organized manner
Putting component stock and finished goods stock away in the correct lay down areas
To carry out any other activities deemed necessary by Senior Operators and Senior Team Lead
What skills and experience will I need to succeed?
You could be a great fit for this role if you have:
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to a fluent standard of English.
Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy is needed at every level and aspect of the journey.
Good computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
Ability to follow instructions accurately
A high level of numeric and data accuracy
Good time management
Self motivated and a team player
Ability to work well under pressure
Flexible
Detail conscious
Previous experience with receiving, transporting, shipping and maintaing stock in a warehouse environment would be desirable.
