Housing Business Systems Analyst

As part of our continuing commitment to improving services through better use of technology, data and digital processes, we are looking for a Housing Business Systems Analyst to develop, maintain and enhance housing line of business ICT systems, data and reporting arrangements. This role will support effective housing service delivery, regulatory compliance, performance management, digital transformation and continuous improvement.
This role is for you if you enjoy:
- Working with business areas to understand operational needs and translate them into practical system, reporting and process improvements to achieve digital transformation.
- Supporting, administering and improving line of business systems used to deliver essential public services.
- Analysing data, improving data quality and producing accurate performance, compliance and management information
- Documenting business processes, preparing user guidance and helping colleagues use systems confidently and effectively.
- Testing, implementing and supporting upgrades, new modules, integrations, reports and agreed process changes.
- Working collaboratively with service leads, operational teams, ICT colleagues and suppliers to resolve issues and deliver improvements.
- Using technology, including Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI and low code development environments, to support automation, reporting and service transformation.
To succeed in this role, you will need experience of supporting, developing or administering line of business ICT systems in a housing, public sector, ICT or similarly regulated environment. You will also need experience of business analysis, process mapping, requirements gathering and translating service needs into system or reporting solutions.
You will have strong organisational and data management skills, with the ability to manage multiple pieces of work simultaneously, accurately and to deadlines. You will be confident interrogating, analysing and presenting data clearly using appropriate reporting tools with proven skills in Power BI or similar tools.
The ability to communicate technical matters clearly to non-technical users will be important, alongside strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues, users, managers, ICT and suppliers. You will also have good awareness of data protection, information governance, cyber security principles and the need for robust change control.
This role has a strong systems, data and service improvement focus and is suited to someone who enjoys hands-on system support, business analysis, process improvement, reporting and the use of digital tools to deliver practical, high-quality housing services.

This is a hybrid working contract, there is a requirement for some of duties to be carried out at home and some on site. Site attendance will constitute more than 40% of available working time.
