We are looking for an organised and practical individual to join our Quality team. No laboratory, science or quality experience is required - full training will be provided. We are particularly interested in candidates with administration, office, data entry, coordination or manufacturing experience. If you are organised, have good attention to detail and are comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Overall function and description of the job:

To coordinate and carry out routine product testing and issue compliance paperwork. The role involves collecting samples, recording results, maintaining accurate records and supporting the Quality team to ensure products meet company standards.

Main duties:

Collect samples from production areas across the plant
Sort, check, and prepare samples for testing
Allocate and plan laboratory tests efficiently
Carry out routine product quality checks and testing following established procedures.
Learn additional product testing methods as experience develops.
Prepare samples in accordance with laboratory standards and procedures
Compare test results against established specifications and requirements
Record and maintain accurate test data and company records
Release materials through the SAP system once all required tests have passed
Produce Certificates of Conformity for standard products and ensure they are distributed appropriately
Report any test failures to the Lead Laboratory Technician and QA Manager, carrying out additional or repeat testing when required
Maintain working areas in a clean and organised condition
Identify equipment maintenance requirements and communicate the need for consumables or tool replacements

Requirements:

Previous laboratory, testing or quality experience is not required as full training will be provided. We welcome applications from candidates with experience in administration, data entry, manufacturing, warehousing or other roles that require attention to detail and accurate record keeping.

Essential Skills & Experience

Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Confident using computers, including spreadsheets, word processing software (MS Office)
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Good numeracy and literacy skills for completing company records and following procedures
Awareness and understanding of current health & safety practices and procedures
