Full job description

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Bar Supervisor to lead our bar team with enthusiasm and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily bar operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver top-notch beverage service while upholding the highest standards of food safety and hospitality. Duties

Supervise and coordinate all aspects of bar operations, including food and beverage preparation, serving, and presentation
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of bartenders and support staff to deliver outstanding service
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and responsible alcohol service policies
Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels for beverages and bar essentials
Train team members on food preparation techniques, cocktail recipes, customer service skills, and safety procedures
Monitor guest interactions to ensure satisfaction and handle any concerns promptly with professionalism
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage pairing options and special promotions

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience in a bar or restaurant setting with strong team management skills
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices within hospitality environments
Experience in food safety protocols and food production processes
Familiarity with restaurant operations, hotel experience or similar hospitality environments is highly desirable
Barista experience or expertise in beverage crafting is a plus
Excellent leadership abilities combined with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
Strong communication skills to effectively train staff and interact with guests
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
