Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dental Therapist/Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive dental care focused on patient comfort, prevention, and education. Your expertise will help promote oral health and improve patients’ smiles in a welcoming, professional environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with dentists and other dental professionals, ensuring exceptional patient experiences and outcomes.

Responsibilities

Perform dental hygiene procedures such as cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth to maintain optimal oral health.
Assist dentists during examinations, treatments, and minor procedures with precision and care.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, dietary advice, and preventive care strategies.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment notes and medical histories.
Use CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to assist in designing dental appliances or restorations when applicable.
Apply knowledge of anatomy and medical imaging techniques to support diagnosis and treatment planning.

Skills

Strong understanding of dental anatomy and related medical imaging techniques.
Proficiency in using CAD software for designing dental restorations or appliances.
Knowledge of radiographic procedures and safety protocols for taking X-rays.
Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively about oral health.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail in record keeping, imaging quality, and treatment execution.
Commitment to ongoing learning about advancements in dental technology and techniques.
