Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Bench Joiner/Carpenter to join our team. This role involves working on bespoke timber projects, including fabrication, assembly, and installation of high-quality joinery products. The successful candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and joinery, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a workshop or on-site environment. Experience with various hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques is essential. This position offers an excellent opportunity to utilise specialised skills within a dynamic team committed to craftsmanship and excellence. Regular overtime available paid at time and a half.

Duties

Fabricate customised timber components according to detailed drawings and specifications
Assemble joinery products using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
Operate a variety of hand tools such as chisels, saws, planes, and measuring devices with precision
Use power tools including drills, saws, sanders, and routers safely and effectively
Install joinery items on-site, ensuring accurate fitting and finish quality
Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment adhering to health and safety standards
Proven experience as a Bench Joiner or Carpenter within a construction or manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of carpentry principles, joinery techniques, and fabrication processes
Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for precise timber work
Demonstrated commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship

Pay: £16.00-£18.50 per hour
