Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Biogas Electrician to join our dynamic energy team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems within biogas production facilities. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical components that power biogas digesters, control systems, and related equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to sustainable energy solutions while working in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Your hands-on skills and electrical experience will be vital in supporting our mission to generate clean, renewable energy through biogas technology.

Duties

Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, panels, and control systems within biogas plants
Conduct routine maintenance on electrical components to ensure optimal performance
Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques, resolving problems promptly
Collaborate with engineers and technicians to upgrade or modify electrical systems for improved efficiency
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation and repair tasks
Ensure all work complies with safety standards, electrical codes, and environmental regulations
Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately for record-keeping purposes

Requirements

Proven experience working with electrical systems in industrial or renewable energy settings
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and troubleshooting methods
Proficiency with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, and multimeters
Experience using power tools for installation and repair tasks
Electrical experience related to control panels, wiring diagrams, and automation systems preferred
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics clearly
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges
Working away from home necessary
