Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Part-Time Marketing & Growth Executive to help drive the growth of EMBS Energy Solutions.

This is not a traditional marketing role. Your primary objective will be to generate qualified business opportunities and increase brand awareness within our target markets. You’ll work closely with the Managing Director and Business Development team to create marketing campaigns, manage digital channels, develop engaging content and support outbound sales activity.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys using creativity, AI and data-driven marketing to generate real commercial results. This is an excellent opportunity to help shape the marketing function of a growing engineering consultancy with genuine long-term career progression.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver marketing campaigns that generate qualified enquiries and support business growth.
Manage and grow the EMBS LinkedIn presence, including creating engaging content for both the company and senior leadership.
Plan, write and distribute regular email newsletters and targeted email marketing campaigns.
Maintain and improve the company website, including updating content, publishing case studies and implementing SEO best practices.
Create high-quality marketing materials including brochures, presentations, graphics and videos.
Support business development by researching target organisations and creating tailored marketing campaigns.
Use AI tools such as ChatGPT to assist with content creation, research and campaign development.
Manage Google Ads and monitor website performance using Google Analytics.
Create and manage landing pages to support marketing campaigns.
Analyse campaign performance and provide recommendations to continually improve results.
Work closely with the sales team to develop marketing strategies that generate meetings and opportunities.
Help position EMBS as one of the UK’s leading engineering consultancies for energy reduction, decarbonisation and building services.

QualificationsEssential

Previous experience in a B2B marketing role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong understanding of LinkedIn marketing and content creation.
Experience with SEO, Google Analytics and Google Ads.
Experience using WordPress or similar website platforms.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Confident using AI tools such as ChatGPT to improve productivity and marketing output.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Desirable

Experience within engineering, construction, energy or building services.
Experience with email marketing platforms and CRM systems (GoHighLevel, HubSpot or similar).
Graphic design experience using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
Basic video editing skills.
Knowledge of marketing automation and workflow creation.

Success in this role will be measured by

Qualified meetings generated for the sales team.
Website enquiries.
Growth in LinkedIn engagement with target decision-makers.
Email campaign performance.
Website traffic and SEO improvements.
Marketing-qualified leads.
Brand awareness within our target sectors.
