Full job description

Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen and Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively environment, providing excellent service to our guests. The position involves preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in a restaurant setting is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Applicants must be organised, personable, and capable of working efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

Prepare food items and beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards
Serve customers promptly and courteously at the bar and dining area
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
Take orders accurately using POS systems and handle cash or card transactions
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
Ensure the bar area is stocked with necessary ingredients and tools throughout service hours
Assist in setting up and clearing tables, ensuring a tidy environment at all times
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently, including proper handling of food and drinks
Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences
Manage time efficiently to handle multiple tasks during busy periods

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is advantageous
Strong serving skills with excellent customer service abilities
Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during shifts
Friendly, personable demeanour with a professional attitude towards guests and colleagues
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
