Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and versatile Cafe All-Rounder to join our vibrant team! In this dynamic role, you will be the heartbeat of our cafe, delivering exceptional service while handling a variety of tasks that keep the operation running smoothly. From preparing delicious food and expertly crafting beverages to serving customers with a friendly smile, you’ll be the key to creating a welcoming atmosphere. Duties

Greet customers warmly and take their orders with enthusiasm, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish
Prepare and serve food and beverages, including coffee, tea, snacks, and light meals, maintaining high quality standards
Operate coffee machines and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently as part of daily food preparation
Serve customers at the counter or table, providing attentive service and answering any questions about menu items
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including counters, tables, kitchen stations, and storage spaces
Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times
Manage cash register transactions accurately using basic math skills, handle payments, and give correct change
Assist with stock replenishment and inventory checks to keep supplies well-stocked for busy periods
Support team members with additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth cafe operations

Requirements

Prior experience as a barista or in food service is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is key!
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene and sanitation
Ability to operate coffee machines and basic kitchen equipment safely
Strong serving skills with a friendly, approachable attitude towards customers
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly between stations, and work in a fast-paced environment
Reliable team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude
