Sales Executive – Weddings & Events

Location: Aylesford, Kent – in person
Salary: £28,000–£30,000 per annum, (pro rata for part-time) depending on experience + performance-related bonus
Job Type: Full-time preferred; part-time applications will also be considered.
Reports to: Head of Sales & Marketing

A full UK driving licence is required due to the venue location.

About the Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, personable and driven Sales Executive to join our growing team at Edenwood Place, an award-winning exclusive-use wedding and events venue in the heart of Kent.

As the first point of contact for prospective clients, you’ll take ownership of the sales journey from initial enquiry through to confirmed booking. You’ll build genuine relationships, deliver exceptional venue showrounds and confidently guide clients through the decision-making process.

Every enquiry is an opportunity to create a lasting impression. Your ability to understand a client’s vision, inspire confidence and create excitement will play a vital role in converting enquiries into unforgettable celebrations at Edenwood Place.

What You’ll Be Doing

Take ownership of new sales enquiries from initial contact through to confirmed booking and handover to our Events Coordinator.
Respond to and qualify telephone, email and online enquiries promptly and professionally.
Manage an active sales pipeline, proactively following up opportunities and driving conversions.
Conduct engaging and personalised venue showrounds for prospective wedding and event clients.
Build strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their vision and requirements.
Provide accurate package, pricing and availability information and prepare quotations where required.
Confidently handle questions and objections while maintaining the value of the venue.
Work towards individual and team sales targets and KPIs.
Maintain accurate client and sales information within our CRM.
Support venue Open Days, showcases, wedding fairs and other promotional activity.
Work closely with our Events Coordinator to ensure a seamless client handover once a booking is confirmed.
Support the Head of Sales & Marketing with the delivery of the wider sales and marketing plan.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is naturally warm, confident and personable, but who also genuinely enjoys sales and is motivated by achieving results.

You’ll be:

Experienced in a customer-facing sales role.
Confident building rapport and establishing trust quickly.
Comfortable presenting to clients and conducting face-to-face appointments.
Customer-focused while remaining commercially minded.
Target-driven, proactive and motivated by achieving results.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Confident communicating by telephone, email and in person.
Comfortable using CRM systems and managing an active sales pipeline.
Able to prioritise your workload and manage multiple enquiries at once.
A confident written and verbal communicator.
Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.

Desirable

Experience within weddings, events or hospitality would be an advantage, as would previous experience using venue management software such as Sonas.

What Success Looks Like

You’ll play an important role in the continued growth of Edenwood Place, with performance measured across areas including enquiry response times, showround attendance, enquiry and showround conversion rates, monthly booking targets, pipeline management and client experience.

Working Hours

The role is primarily weekday-based, with flexibility required for evening and weekend venue showrounds, client appointments, Open Days and promotional events.

We are primarily looking to recruit a full-time Sales Executive; however, we are also open to applications from experienced candidates seeking part-time hours and may consider appointing two part-time team members for the right candidates.
